In ordinary quality control and research&development test, paint covering power, opacity, scrub resistance ability, sag resistance and other quality tests are required to have good consistency and repeatability of coating. Many ISO, GB, ASTM standards require to preset a same thickness coating. The most commonly use method of sample preparation is a wet film applicator, which can apply needed thickness from 0 to 3600 microns of coating.
