Description:

For credible and accurate measure of paint and coating, it requires to strictly control the actual thickness (Not the Assumption) of the dry film or wet film. In regular quality control and research and development test, paint covering power, opacity, scrub resistance ability, sag resistance, and other quality test are required to have a good repeatability of coating. Many ISO, GB, ASTM standards require to preset the same thickness of the coating. The most used commonly method of sample preparation is a coating machine. Coating machine can paint thickness of coating from 0 to 3600 microns, which are needed.

Choose special fine grinding and mirror polishing stainless steel surface, has excellent corrosion resistant effect, the surface with different depth of groove, groove can be used to scrape out the different thickness of the coating.
 
Use: Wet film preparation device is mainly used for coating thickness of wet film, to determine the hiding power, color sample or the preparation of sample and so on.

Operating Steps:

By shaking and mixing, ensure that the paint mixing balances.
In the test paper, or other suitable coating base material, mark on product name, lot number, coating ware number and any other information which can help to identify in the future
Ensure the test paper is fixed on the coated plate. Such as using the vacuum suction cups, ensure paperboard cover all vacuum in vacuum plate hole, in order to ensure there is enough vacuum to fix the test paper
Put the coating device over the paper, under the label
Finally place a piece of tissue under the test paper which is greater than the test paper.  So that to absorb the overflow in the process of coating to absorb spilled cardboard at the bottom of the excess paint

Put the coated substrate on a smooth level of paper (preferably with vacuum suction cups)

According to the depth of the clearance requirement to coating on the substrate

Pour on the coating before the space when the coating device in the direction of back

With uniform speed to pull back (about 25 mm/SEC)
Immediately put the coating device in the dilution of the cleaning solvent used brush to wash, and then dry with a clean soft cloth to save
